Save the Date Sept 24, 2 pm: Friends of the NPL Annual Meeting with Mary Schier as guest speaker

We would like to invite you to the Friends annual meeting on Sunday afternoon, September 24, which will combine a short business meeting with a very special speaker.  At the business meeting, we will offer our members a review of our 2016-2017 activities, look ahead to 2017-2018, and report on the organization's finances. And we are very pleased to welcome as our speaker long-time Friend and Friends' Board Member Mary Lahr Schier who will talk about Minnesota's Horticultural Heroes

Mary Schier is editor of the Northern Gardener Magazine and author of The Northern Gardener, a book due out from the Minnesota Historical Society Press in November 2017.

The Annual Meeting will begin at 2 pm in the Bunday Meeting Room at the Northfield Public Library. We hope to see you there.

Refreshments will be served.
